The Highlight
Spend a day at Tropical Academy, Siargao’s only eco-campus.
Tropical Academy: This eco-campus is run by grassroots non-profit Lokal Lab. The campus hosts a demo farm, a composting facility and various open-aired learning spaces. It hosts livelihood workshops for local communities and opens its doors for visitors to learn more about the island culture.
Pacifico Surf Town: A quaint little town that’s becoming famous for its local surfer vibe.

Learn how to weave your own little basket from the local ladies who produce banig mats made out of native grass. You can then take home your creation as a souvenir.
End the day by making a stopover at Pacifico Surf Town. Sit on the beach and sip a coconut or beer, watch the surfers in the distance, or refresh yourself with a quick swim.
