Where does the tour take place? In the Malinao Mangrove Forest near General Luna, with launch and finish at Kanaloa Beach Bar.
Do I need experience to paddleboard? No — your guide provides basic SUP instructions. Guests may opt for the traditional baroto if they prefer.
Can children join? Yes — children under 10 may ride on the SUP with an adult or sit safely on the baroto with a companion.
What boat or craft is used? SUP boards for paddlers, or a traditional baroto for guests who prefer not to paddle.
At the start of the tour, our experienced guides will share some helpful tips on how to use the stand-up paddleboard, as well as important safety rules.
At the end of the tour, enjoy a refreshment and some extra time lounging by the beach.
The tour schedule depends on the tidal conditions for your chosen date, with mid to high tide being the ideal time. The meeting point is Kanaloa Beach Bar in Malinao. You may drive yourself or take a passenger tricycle to the location. After the tour, tricycles are readily available outside Kanaloa to take you back to your resort.
What’s included? SUP board and paddle or baroto option, a refreshment, local guide, safety briefing, and access to the mangrove forest.
What should I bring? Swimwear, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, water, and a most importantly a dry bag for valuables.
How do tidal conditions affect the tour? Tours are scheduled for mid-to-high tide for smooth paddling or cruising. Booking times are confirmed based on tides.
